One of the things we love most about floral design is the ability to completely transform a space while still respecting its existing character.

For this recent installation, we had the opportunity to work within a beautiful venue featuring rich timber finishes, elegant architecture, and a timeless grand piano. Rather than competing with the space, we wanted our flowers to feel like a natural extension of it.

The result was a dramatic sea of deep red roses and seasonal blooms that appeared to flow directly from the piano itself.

WORKING WITH THE EXISTING ARCHITECTURE

When we design event flowers, we always begin by looking at the venue.

Every location has its own personality, colour palette, and architectural features. In this case, the warm timber tones, classic detailing, and intimate atmosphere naturally guided our floral choices.

The deep red flowers complemented the richness of the timber while creating a striking focal point that immediately drew guests into the room.

CREATING MOVEMENT THROUGH FLOWERS

One of our favourite techniques is creating floral installations that feel alive.

Rather than placing flowers in a traditional arrangement, we designed this installation to cascade from the piano and flow organically across the floor. The movement helps create a sense of drama while softening the structure of the space.

From every angle, guests experienced something slightly different, making the installation feel immersive rather than simply decorative.
