TERMS AND CONDITIONS – STEM DESIGN – BRISBANE FLORIST Welcome to STEM DESIGN. By placing an order, making a booking, or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to protect both our clients and our business, and ensure a smooth experience for all parties involved.

1. GENERAL All services provided by STEM DESIGN are subject to availability and confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel or modify orders due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. supply shortages, extreme weather, transport delays). Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. By confirming a booking or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. BOOKINGS & PAYMENT Event and wedding bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure the date, as advised in your custom quote or invoice. Full payment for wedding and event flowers is due 7 days prior to the event unless agreed otherwise in writing. For all general floral orders (e.g. bouquets, deliveries), full payment is required at the time of ordering.

3. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS Weddings & Events: Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled event will incur a 50% cancellation fee based on the total order value. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled event will incur a 100% cancellation fee, as all flowers and materials would have been sourced and allocated. No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 48 hours unless agreed at our discretion. Floral Orders (Bouquets & Deliveries): Orders cancelled more than 48 hours in advance may be refunded at our discretion, minus a $20 admin fee. Orders cancelled within 48 hours are non-refundable, particularly if flowers have been sourced or arrangements made.

4. SUBSTITUTIONS & SEASONAL AVAILABILITY We do our best to use the flowers requested; however, due to seasonal and market availability, some substitutions may be necessary. STEM DESIGN reserves the right to substitute flowers of equal or greater value, maintaining the overall style and colour palette of your order or event design.

5. DELIVERY TERMS We deliver throughout Brisbane and surrounding suburbs. Delivery windows are generally between 10am–5pm, Monday to Saturday. If the recipient is unavailable at the time of delivery, flowers will be left in a safe, shaded spot with photo proof and/or a note unless otherwise instructed. Incorrect delivery information may result in delayed delivery or non-delivery. Redelivery fees may apply.

6. EVENT & WEDDING INSTALLATIONS For on-site event styling, access to the venue must be granted within agreed times. Delays or restricted access may affect final setup quality and incur additional fees. All hired items remain the property of STEM DESIGN unless otherwise specified. Loss or damage to hire items will be billed to the client at replacement cost.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY All photos, designs, and content provided by STEM DESIGN remain the intellectual property of the business and may not be copied or reused without written permission.

8. LIABILITY STEM DESIGN is not liable for any damages, injury, or loss resulting from the use of our products or services beyond the scope of Australian Consumer Law. Once flowers are delivered or handed over, we are no longer responsible for how they are stored or used.

9. CHANGES TO TERMS STEM DESIGN reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be available on our website.
